Steering column
Last December my father and I decided that we wanted a project for winter and spring. We traded a 99 Malibu for a 1965 F100 with a 302/c4. Since then we put in discs brakes, power booster, paint and some nice 15x8 centerlines. Rig is almost done.
Ran into some problems with the steering column shakes and move up and down. Column is not org to truck according to previous owner. We were going to order an ididit (1170825020) retrofitted column from jegs/summit but it seems too expensive.
Has anyone purchased a universal column that has worked. But not so expensive as the ididit (1170825020)? Trying to keep cost down as we are approaching our max limit. But like any project will probably go over the limit.

Ididit has a paintable steel tilt floor shift column.... The Car and Truck shop in Orange Cali sells them for under 400 bucks.
