More of a capability measure. Four-links ride better and are easier to adjust/align. The shock options also change ride and adjustability. I bought the Stage 1 kit from a friend, added the four-link, OUO 5" Traction Blocks, and ICON dual steering stabilizer. The ride is better than stock.

That's great news. I did a bunch of research because I didn't want to go cheap and have a bad riding truck that looked good.

I have a Stage III ICON on order with 4 link and duel SS. I can't wait to see the piggy back shocks and I bet they ride great. The lift should be here next week.

So to the OP I say ICON.

Yep it's $8,000 + between the lift with 20" wheels and 35" Toyo's.
IMO, get the diamond first. Then pull the trigger on a quality lift when the time
is right. You have a lot of good stuff on that truck. Don't skimp on the foundation. I've had 4 SD's and this will be the first one done right. Like I said the other's looked great, but the ride suffered.

Good luck with the diamond.

diamonds are already on the ring. now its time for the bling on the ole whip. lol. if only i had 8k to drop on the super duty.... and no truck payments. daaaaaa

But at least i have a sweet ride with lots of potential down the road. So you think from all your experience with these trucks, and lifts, ICON is where its at all around? and what sets them apart. Thanks in advance for the info

Good job on the diamond. Gotta keep mamma happy!

I'm not the end all expert on the lifts. I just did a ton of research and PM's to people and I found a very Knowledgable and helpful dealer (truck lifts) who gave me great info. and many options. I've been on a bunch of forums getting the info. pulled together. You can PM if you want and I'll give you his info. The Icon and Carli systems looked the best to me. You can do a quality lift w/o spending 8K. For the way I'll use the truck the shock package I ordered will be overkill, but I like the look. The key is the 4link for the ride quality.

I bought my truck with the lift already installed. It came with a 4.5" CST lift. Can run 37". I feel I got really lucky as I didn't much about lifts. I've been told when the oilfield guys get tired of crappy lifts they put the CST lift in. Stripetech in Calgary quoted me $12000 to do my lift. I am no expert in lifts and not sure what makes a great lift or not but my truck drives and handles awesome.
