Anyone have a rancho 4inch lift on their truck? curious as to what its like, how it rides, any pros/cons, towing, normal usage, anything you want to share about.
i dont know what your talking about still trying to figure a few things out tho, mostly regarding work and such. as well as more info about such a mod. i try to do my homework on stuff as much as possible before i just dive in headfirst. would love to talk about it tho with those more knowledgeable than myself
his did as well...and he replaced them with Bilsteins.
Tux, what's with the statement, are you playing the suck up card or they sarcasm card? I don't care if Rancho made them to Ford's craptastic specs or Ford paid to have Rancho's name on some other craptastic shock. They are both are guilty in my book. Shocks on the FX4 package are bad. Both companies are to blame. That being said, it's a cheap fix.
That being said, the Carli lift system looks to be far better components in my opinion.

Good point, I didn't think about him brown nosing to better the chances of him getting the free lift....his comments make more sense now.
I was genuine about my comments. And not biased one way or another. Sure i didnt like the stock shocks. But i didnt like the non rancho branded shocks on my non FX4 08shocks 6.4...and i dont hold a grudge one towards Ford or rancho. Just is what it is.
