Brake pedal soft.
Got hit a couple of weeks ago, left front tire/fender/bumper and left rear panel. Brakes felt soft immediatly, but still stopped. I didn't drive it but 20', then towed to body shop. Picking it up in a little while, they felt it was master cyl (I agreed), replaced it, still soft. Supposed to have been pressure bled. No leaks found.
So, told it stops but still soft, I will know how bad in an hour or so. I received settlement already, so I am paying for everything now. Might have to take to dealership in the morning, but really don't want to.
Oh, and we are trying to get out of town with our trailer, so time is not on our side.
PLEASE, any thoughts or experience with this issue?
Just put rotors back on day before, so pins were good, etc. Felt great untill!
Thanks.

They put a new "Pronto' master cyl on it, can't say I know anything about them.
I know on some cars there is some different lengths of push rods from the booster, some times the wrong one gets put on.
Has anybody had weird issues when replacing a master cyl?
I don't want to discount the abs, but the regular brakes should still work okay, because the systems generally are set up in a failsafe mode, unless of course air somehow got in the system.
Truck is home, so I am going to start checking calipers, etc.
But, no abs light or brake light.
I was finally able to get truck to dealer in Ft Collins (we are near here this summer), and they diagnosed as abs hydraulic unit, the low pressure accumulator. I had come up with that myself based on my service manual procedure, but an expensive gamble so I wanted a second opinion. I know a lot of dealerships really suck, but Spradely Barr has been great.
They are even okay with my bringing my own parts and installing it, as long as it is Motorcraft. It is, bought from our site sponsor Horizon Ford, saving me 300+ dollars.
Hope to get back in this week for install, and report news that it is fixed.
Spradley Barr Ford in Ft Collins did great, never charged me for the two times I had it there for diagnoses, and charged two hours for the install, pretty nice deal. No whining about me bringing my own part, it was Motorcraft from Horizon, our sponsor. I thanked Horizon in a separate post, but they saved me over 300 bucks and shipping was great.
A big PITA but overall good experience when things work out.
