Tire sizes for lifted excursion

Ok guys. I have a 2003 excursion 4X4 on factory 16" wheels. I want to keep my same wheels. Want to install 7" lift. How big of tire can I go? I was looking at the 345/75R16 and 365/75R16 BFG Mud Terrains. Not many manufacturers are making big tires for 16s. I want to go as big as I can without cutting or spacers. Will NOT put any type of Super Swamper. This truck will never see mud.

Your asking for a lot. A 7" kit will usually fit up to 37's (maybe a little smaller/bigger based on tire/rim width combinations).

Those tires you want, won't fit your stock 16" rims. Plus they are mud tires, you said you didn't want swampers because it won't see mud

Stock 16" rims are 16x7 wide and those tires say they need a minimum of a 9.5" wide rim and will fit all the way to a 12" rim width.

If you're spending the money on a lift, don't cut corners on the actually things that connect you to the ground. You will need to go to a wider rim, not necessarily a larger rims, but definitely wider than those stock ones.

If you want more selections of tires look at 17, 18, 20 rim sizes.

It's hard to find tires that big for any rim that are not mud tires. Had bad luck in the past with swampers. Will never buy them again. I was just trying to keep from buying new wheels. I like the stock ones.

315's are about as big as you can go on stock rims and still look good, but you won't need 7in of lift for that, you can get away with 5-6in for sure.

OPEN COUNTRY A/T | Toyo Tires

biggest they offer on the smallest rim

tire size LT355/70R17 127R D/8 (37X14.0R17)
rim width 9.5-10.5-11.0
product code #301360

although it's D-rated it has a max load of 3,860 lbs at 50psi

I'm going to be getting tires soon, and am pretty sure I'm leaning towards these instead of their M/T, because I do more highway
