4.5" Lift With 37s?
I am posting this for a buddy as he does not have access to the internet, he just picked up a 2007 CC LB 4x4 PSD a couple of weeks ago, its all stock but in need of new tires, I have shown him pics of 6" lift with 37s and he likes that but he is a fan of less gap and larger tires , he thinks since I have a leveling kit with 35s he should have no problem with a 4.5" kit and 37s.
I think there is a reason I am not seeing this combo here on the boards?? Does this not work or do people just buy the 6" because its essentially the same price??

It can work, but it is very tight and depends greatly on what offset of wheels he runs. Too much positive offset and they'll rub on the radius arms, too much negative and they'll rub on the fender and bumper. Usually you'll end up trimming the bumper and fender liner to make it work. I looked at the Truck Toyz gallery and there was only one of that year range that had that setup: TruckToyz Performance Image Viewer
Sticking with a narrow 37 (like a 37x12.50) will help, and as close to stock wheel offset as possible without rubbing the radius arms will help keep them away from the fender/bumper.

ps i think the 4.5" lift and 37's will work on his year of truck but it will look pretty stuffed, if hes fine with the look then go for it..

i have a 6" superlift with 37 BFG's on my 04 f350 since new, no problem pushing it around. I'm sorry I cant remember the offset of the wheels, but its perfect full lock and not hitting anything.
Do NOT use wheel spacers to kick the wheel out, find. ask the lift dealer what wheels will work without rubbing.

It'll be fine. Just do test fitting with rims first
I have 4.5" on 35's. 12" of gap in fender wells. I've spaced out for the extra size of 37's and once these wear out, am upsizing
Might have to spacer the bumper and trim the valance. Otherwise lots of room under there IMO
