Hello!

long time viewer, first time posting.

I have recently purchased a 1997 4.6 e150 conversion van and LOVE IT...but, it has a random erratic idle, like an inconsistent stutter/shutter/quick surge here and there while stopped.
This happens in gear, park, neutral....so on. The van drives great, but this is annoying since it is a travel van, and I need it to run super smooth while stopped, since my band will be sleeping in it this summer on tour. During cold start it runs perfect for about 5 mins or so till it warms...then it starts up again.

I have 2000 explorer with the exact same problem, but im thinking of just selling so I dont have to spend anymore money on it.

So far this is what ive replaced on the van.

-manifold gaskets
-spark plugs/wires
-iac
-cleaned maf
-erg/solenoid
-checked for vacuum leaks with carb cleaner
-fuel filter/air filter
-pcv
-tps
-cleaned throttle body


These are next on my list, but I just dont want to throw anymore money at it.

-injectors, o rings
-fuel pressure regulator
-knock sensor?
-o2 sensors
-cats
