HELP
Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum, and am looking for some advice. I have a 2003 excursion v10, and am now having some problems. My son drove the truck the other day, and the trucks battery died because he left the lights on, so he jumped it. The next day when i went to drive the truck, every light on the cluster was on, the radio would not work only appearing when the menu or load cd button was pressed, the windows do not function, nor do any interior lights, any suggestions?

You need to go out and get a battery tender or the like(digital charging) and plug in your batteries overnight one at a time....then watch the miracles happen. Big vehicles hate low voltage.

I'm inclined to agree... gotta start with charged batteries to get any kind of troubleshooting done. I'd ask him to fess up if anything "interesting" happened during the jumping, like getting the connectors on backwards or anything.

I agree though that a fully charged battery is needed before any other troubleshooting can begin if you want the best results in testing, as stated before these trucks are not tolerant of a battery not at optimal performance.
