I have the same set up as you and I got mine from DDM tuning and am very happy with them. I went with the 35w 5000k. Depending on what color you are shooting for I would steer clear of 8000k. http://www.ddmtuning.com/Products/Ap...Raptor-HID-Kit That's the website. You will need H13 hi/lo combo. You can choose from 35 or 55 watt. 35 is plenty. If you are trying to get white light I would recomend either 4500 or 5000k temps. Just my 2¢. Happy hunting.

Retro-Solutions HID's is my choice.

They are SV on others sites and get rave reviews with their products and customer service.

I went the cheap route after some research with an ebay kit and have loved them. I upgraded my fog lights and fuses as well. There is a slight blue tint when looking at them but on the road they are white. I was unable to find a kit with 5000k Hi/Lo's however, the HID bulb will not burn out instead they will change color so once the color moves to a temp Im not happy with I will replace them with 5000k . You will need a 4mm socket to aim your lights. The only issue I have found is with the auto headlamp feature on and starting the truck sometimes one headlight will not come on, in reading I found that HID's need allot of initial power to start up and if your engine is also pulling power starting this can happen. Also I have an average battery and stock alternator. H13 High/Low Beam 6000K XENON 35W Conversion HID AC Kit Diamond White Sd2 | eBay
Here is an iphone picture of my HID's however they do not look that blue in person

I disagree. There have been a few reported problems from end-users on other forums over the years (and at least one here at FTE), with less than stellar customer service for help with their problem.

I have yet to see where someone has had a problem with Retro Solutions customer service.

Also, since Retro Solutions is a SV on a couple other sites, they sell a lot of their kits and I haven't seen very many reported problems with their kits. Definitely a lot less than DDM.

So, while DDM may have a good kit, based on my experience and information available on the different forums, I disagree with your assertion that DDM has the best kits.

I completely agree. I just didn't wanna voice my opinion about your statement regarding DDM being "the best," without qualifying why I thought otherwise.

For clarity sake, I am not saying DDM is bad or is substandard or the kits are garbage.

Nope. It is a shop here locally (PDX Motorz) that sells these kits reasonably. Ive installed them in every vehicle I own except my Excursion so far. Next month Ill have it dialed as well. Oregon has no sales tax, so in many cases the savings often pays for the shipping costs out of state.
