Whats a good hid kit for the 11 to 15 superduty? I want hi/lo beam and the fog light kit.i see alot of companies, im looking for someone who has a kit with good results and no problems. I see cool.bulbs has a full kit for around $200
I don't know of any kits to put HID lights in our current housings legally... Wrong reflectors.. I think you need to look into new Projector lights for that or a service that retrofits projector lenses into the stock housings.. Pretty pricey from what I've seen so far..
Yea they aren't legal without the proper housing. But if you plan to just drop those ones in make sure that your kit comes with a module that is supposed to run between your original bulb harness and the kit as apparently ford and dodge use some sort of pulsating power and it will wreak havoc on hids. It might be fine for months or you might start having one headlight syndrome. LEDs don't have that problem from what i've seen.

Not concerned with legal/illegal. I need to see and stock lights are worse than my lawnmower! I just dont want melting issues, balkast or blown bulb issues. Just need the brightest light I can get in the stock housings

I hope the $&@#% you're not coming at me in the dark....
The new superduty housings are well made, if you take the time to aim them after, they barely scatter the hid light. Took me about an hour after installing my hids to get them adjusted. Ive never been flashed.
Another option would be to run seperate lights, my rigid LEDs light up everything.

As long as you can see who cares if it others can't I guess lol But yeah I agree the lights could be a bit brighter.

In that case, why not save a lot of hassle and just get a high output light bar and wire it to an upfitter.

What brand of HIDs do you have? I used brightsource in my 12 superduty and lowered them as low as they would go. I had to pull them because everybody highbeamed me.
