Need help!!!
Ok so i have a 77 f150 with a 460 in it, i just got done installing a camshaft in it and after i broke the cam in i took it for a test drive and it runs decent when you ease into it, it wants to fall on its face when you stomp on it. i have the timing set at 10, i bumped it up to 12 and it gets worse. here is a list of add ons that i know of
750 edelbrock
edelbrock performer intake
harland sharp roller rockers
a crane cam (Adv Dur Int 272 Exh 284 Dur @ .050 Int 216 Exh 228 Deg Lobe Sep 112 Valve Lift Int .518 Exh .513) this is the description on the website

im not sure about anything else. i bought the truck from a guy i work with it had sat for about 5 years before i bought it and i drove it for about 500 miles before i had a lifter stick on me and it ate up the cam. i put the same size cam in that i took out. everyone i talk to that was familar with this truck acted like it had loads of power.... but ive never seen it even before this cam swap.
any help would be great. and go easy on me im a bodyman not a mechanic.

sounds like either a carb problem or a fuel delivery problem.
sounds like either you don't have enough fuel pressure or the accellartor pump is not working on the carb. did you have the carb rebuilt and adjusted? after sitting for 5yrs the carb is going to be all gummed up and need a thorough cleaning of all passages and proper adjustment to work properly. also check to make sure the fuel pump is delivering enough pressure. you want between 5 - 7 psi at carb.

with engine off, look down the front barrels of the carb and move the throttle. You should see a stream of fuel into each side.
That doesn't say if it's set properly but will tell you if it's working or not.

If you started at 10 BTDC and went to 12 and that made it worse, did you try going to 8 to see if it made it better?
Check to make sure your choke is opperating proberly?
Stubbling off the line can be indicitive of an initial lean motor. Like stated before, make sure you're accelerator pump is working and giving you a good stream of fuel. Also check for a vacuum leak. Either too much air or not enough fuel could be a contributor.

I tried setting it at 8BTDC and its about the same as 12BTDC so I'm sticking with 10th I checked the accelerator pump and I'm getting a steady stream. And the choke is working properly. It does seem like it does better once the motor warms up. Should I rebuild the carb or where should I go from here.

I'm not an expert at the Edelbrock carbs (or any for that matter) but it seems to me like you have something going on in the carb.
I know they can run great when tuned properly but if gummed up and the needles are sticking then they can cause issues.
If it hasn't been rebuilt in a while then it's probably worth it for what it costs to do. Also check for vacuum leacks as you just had the intake off.
