06 f250 6.0... removed egr cooler welded up both ends and reinstalled. When towing heavy load and using tow hall, after towing for several miles i sometimes get a very rough idel when coming to a stop. After acceleration the rough idel goes away and may not happen again for several days. Truck runs out great other wise.
So the egr cooler is welded did you leave the EGR Valve installed in the intake and also keep it plugged in
Was it doing this B4 you welded the egr cooler shut????
Might want to start thinking about a ScanGaugeII or Gauges being an intermittened isue its going to be Harder to figure out. So it would be good to Have a Gauge so you can check somethings out when it does act up. And in the meantime we can start checking sensor/Actuator operating Values
Check for DTC/codes it may have one even if CEL is OFF
