Micah? Yours has all the good stuff I want. Real seats. I found a set but need them re-done. Mine I think came from JC Whitney as I see a set there just like them. Not enough padding for my old body.
And the manual tranny. That and the 300 are the cat's meow I think.
thanks.. yeah i need to fix the drivers seat something is broke in the seat so it leans back super far. i have a milk crate behind it now so you an sit up right lol. and i agree the 4sp and the 300 is an awesome combo!
Well you have wrecking yards in your woods that may have seats and other interior stuff. Ya know that any full size Ford truck around your vintage will have parts that will work on "Bucking Bronco Billy". You gonna fire Him up and drive him home? Man sounds strange to call a rig a him.
I just put a set of Warn Premium Locking Hub Kits on "The Bronk" a week ago. Got them from Broncograveyard.com for around $135.00. I checked my milage day before yesterday and gained 2MPG with them over the Auto hubs it had. I have the Auto hubs. They are in perfect condition. If ya can use them PM me. I'll make ya a heck of a deal.
The Warn hub kit I got had everything one would ever need with them. Including two new spindle nut or wheel brg retaining nut and pin assembly's part number 28068X that I didn't need to use as mine had that setup on her already. It's the double nut set up that I like. I don't trust the setup with the keeper that just slides in. I lost the wheel and rotor off my 90 Ranger because of that kind.
I also with mine had the 4spd in it. Maybe someday i will get around to doing a swap but with this newly rebuilt auto i want to play with it more first. I think the biggest challenge with a swap is the pedals and getting rid of the column shifter. And maybe the whole "shifter through the floor" deal. But it isn't impossible.
