Torque Build

Whats the best headers for torque and lowend performance? Pacesetter or Hookers? one of my buddies recently talked me into a single exhaust instead of true duals on my truck for bottom end and torque so im trying to decide on which parts i want. I was recommended pacesetter headers and a y pipe into a 2.5" exhaust. all that is fine except for the y pipe? i dont see the gain from them other than losing alot of extra cash on them lol. Is there a y pipe that would work with the hooker headers? im really leaning towards those right now.. it would be a si/do muffler so what about size? 2.5" in and 2.25" out okay?

For lowend TQ you want longtubes and there are no over-the-counter Y pipes for our trucks with them... you're looking at a custom fabrication. Pacesetter has the best fitting longtube at the moment.

With my truck being a 4x4 will the hookers have Fitment problems? How do the pacesetter compare to the hookers performance wise?

No problem with these headers on a 4x4, performane wise there is little difference from one brand to the next but there are hugh difference in fit quality.. clearance around the frame and drive components, how low they hang, etc. Right now the Pacesetters are very good at all of that while some of the others are brutally bad and will make you hate longtube headers.
