your giving up to easy.don't let it get to ya man.just park it for a month and take a brake from it.you just got the thing!
on the other hand, there's a time to know when its best to count your loses and move on.if you feel she just isn't ever going to be a reliable truck again one day without dumping more $ into it than it's worth, well then good luck with the sale.
whats next? another truck? psd?
Shes a reliable truck now, but I have college to pay for, and i have to drive about 70miles everyday and shes my Daily Driver at this point, lol my Eclipses turbo sucked some peices of dry rotted air filter down into the turbines so its off the road for another month or so, and I gave my sister her Toyota Yaris back since she is divorcing her husband and didnt have anything else.
There is always something that she needs and im running out of hours in a day to fix them. I listed it for a steep 5,000. I will not take less, I really don't want to rid myself of her but damn man, I have nooo free time and nooo spare money. I will probably wind up keeping her because its unlikely someone will pay 5k. But if the money is there I don't think ill turn it down.
Its about 500 a month in fuel. As im sure you guys are aware of.
nice truck. you might not be too far off on your asking price. a member on OB.net recently sold his '94 cclb 4x4 for $4,500 IIRC. he was turbo'ed though.
For that asking price, you will be the owner of a nice looking F350 for quite some time to come. It could be a good thing, though. 60 miles a day isn't too bad. Remember the cost of buying another vehicle and the potential issues you may have in it. I would say, spend some time fixing the Eclipse and use that as your DD while you work on the F350 and use it for heavy work.
I would hang onto it, nothing like being abel to work on your own rig. I went through my engine twice, in 2,500 mile's ( got mad and parked it for 10 month's) but I would not sell it for any amount. just sayin.
