I am looking for the Factory tow mirrors for my 97 F250.
It is the tripod style with 4 mounting bolts, NOT 5. let me know if you know where I could find a set

If I recall Brad, no one repops that style. Seeing as how they weren't very common to begin with, they might be hard to come across in a JY.

 

That is my problem. The local junk yards dont have much. I found a couple thru Ford but not cheap

OK I have a set upstairs in a box from an F350 Dually project that never got off the ground, but they have 5 mounting holes - three across the top and two for the struts down below. They look just like the ones in your picture. Are these not factory Ford? I was told they were.

Hello jas88, I'd be interested in the set of mirrors you have. I really only need to replace the mirror glass for both sides, but I'm missing the rubber gasket on one of them. If the price is right, I may just replace everything. Are you looking to sell them? Let me know. Thanks.

Hello all
I have found the tri-pod mirrors from Truck-Lite. I attached a link if it works, they call it the internal elbow style. They will not sell direct that i am aware of but I was able to find a dealer and order the heads only for my truck. Hope this helps

Yeah, NO. They have a different bolt pattern than the OEM ones

 

Didnt know that, I just replaced the mirror heads
They where a perfect match except the Ford logo wasnt stamped into them
