This gauge cluster just sold on eBay for $299!
that's a lot of bank but a pretty cool setup. The Center appears to be a F100 speedo with the gauges added ala Bronco setup. The left gauge is vacuum, the right is a tach. It seems like that Tach is a Stuart Warner model but I was wondering if anyone on the forum could ID the model of the Vac & Tach gauges. Hopefully it's not a custom dial face job that'd be hard to replicate, I'd love to do this to mine.
I'm sure Number Dummy will know exactly, but my guess is that it came out of something like an F500 - F700 - a big *****. Possibly a diesel since the tach only goes to 4000 rpms. The vacuum gauge would be for the trailer brakes maybe? Anyway, that's my guess.
I figured the setup wasn't from a bronco but the speedo was. With oil and amp gauge instead of idiot lights. Love the look of the tach and air gauge. Wonder if it could measure vacuum. Like a 4k redline, no reason to ever wind 'er out more than that anyway.
F450s and larger Typically have integral oil and amp gauges. Broncos Have these also.
Common modification to light duty trucks. Do not expect to find a tach drive for these for the street without shelling out major dollars for a 406 or 427 distributor with the driver. The FT,Y block or Six dizzy that drove these stock also had governors on them.
