Hey Guys - I have been steadly working on the lights & wiring on my '64 F100 2wd short bed and have sorted out the rear tail lights. I had a new headlight switch I installed and started chasing wires. After replacing some bad wiring, I now have turn, stop, brake and running lights. I had bad wiring as well as a ground issue where the tail light housing screws are and grounds to the body tabs...they had been painted over years ago. A good sanding of the tabs, ground issue resolved!
The problem I need advise on is how to repair the front turn signals, wheather left or right blinker is on, both front turn signals blink. Does this sound like a crossed wire or possible ground issue?
sidenote--- the right turn signal blinks normal and the drivers side blinks at a faster rate. All input and advise is greatly appreciated- Thanks!!!!!

First off, a digital voltmeter/ohms meter would be used for testing.
On the cab side of the light harness main disconnect, (under the hood), the White/Blue lead is for the Right front turn signal, the Green/White is for the Left front turn signal. After pulling apart the main disconnect, insert the volt meter lead into the contact for the Right turn signal, and operate the turn signal to the left. If voltage is seen at this point, you have a cross anywhere back up to the turn signal switch. Do this again for the Left turn signal contact to check. If no voltage is seen while operating the opposite signal, the cross can be in the engine side of the main disconnect, or in the wiring under the hood.
