Spark Plug Question

My truck is at 90k mile mark now and I was Thinking about changing the plugs on it tomorrow. After some reading ofcouse I see all of these horrible issues with plugs breaking. I do not think my truck model is affected but would like to make sure before taking this on. I have a 2006 STX with the 4.6L V8 SOHC 16V. Any info would be helpful. Thank You.

You "shouldn't" have any problems. Most of these issues seem to be with the 5.4 3-valve engines. I've never had any break in the 4.6's.

The 4.6's I don't think have the same plug and are one piece design so you should be just fine.

I wish I had the 4.6. A better engine all round. The 5.4 is a bit of a pain. Well I do have a 4.6, but it's in my MG station wagon.
