Spark Plug Horror .....

I am NEW here, so I don't know if I am posting in the right place. I have just replaced my plugs on a 2004 ..... 4.6 with 79000 miles on it. I have been reading a lot about the great possibility of breaking a plug off. I would like to understand better just which engines this trouble is associated with. I had absolutely NO problems. The plugs came out and went in just as they are supposed to. My 4.6 called for AGSF32PM plugs. That is what was in the engine and that is what I replaced them with. So, is this problem just associated with the 5.4 engines? I assume the 5.4 uses a different plug. I have always run AMSOIL synthetic, so if there is a problem with carbon build-up, maybe synthetic oils reduce the carbon build-up. So, give me as many details as possible about which models are having all this plug trouble.
