When were the plugs last changed? How many miles are on the truck? Usually fuel injectors last 200,000 + miles. I do you have Any check engine light on? I would start by inspecting each coil boot. Sometimes thers cracks that develop over time. If you have a check engine light on or any codes it should tell you wich cylender or cylenders hdve a misfire. There is no need to replace all of The cop's but that's up to you!

Stop by any auto parts store and they will read the codes and it will tell you more about what's going on. The cop's themselves are able to be wiggled around to get them out without removing the fuel rail. They are 7mm screws that hold them down. Look at the ends of each boot for cracks and replace the cracked boots or I usually do all if one is cracked. As for the coil pack itself depending on wich cylender or cylenders are mis-firing the pulled codes will tell you wich ones to replace! I would also look for coolant or oil In The spark plug wells. And when you re install The cop boots be sure to use plenty of dielectric grease on The tips as this keeps moisture out and next plug service they won't tear! Good luck! And most importantly, Thank You for your service!

When it happend to my old V10 I had to change the valve cover gaskets. and the COP boot was very cracked and dry wich I assumed let oil drip in there over time is my guess since it was the #10 cylinder. I thought it was a rear main seal but upon inspection of what was left of the gasket near the #10 cylinder there was a large crack in it causing oil to run down the back of the motor.
