black smoke, running rich
93 Bronco 302, everytime I stand on it and it just starts to come in to it the black smoke rolls, and it aint no PowerStroke, but I wish. Really need help cause we are hittin the trails tomorrow afternoon, and pulling up out of a whole will be kind of embarassing, if you know what I mean!! Anything, but the most posistive would be nice I will run the codes in the morning.
Oh yeah forgot to tell, replaced front seal on tranny, I'm use to chesting about every tranny I've ever done but the E40D was a heavy S.O.B. Good news no more tranny leak, Bad news should've replaced rear main. must say the motor is coming out this time.

If you don't get some informative codes, see if there's gasoline in the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator (FPR) and test the HEGO, ECT, & ACT by the Haynes procedure.
