TURNSIGNAL SWITCH ?????

Installed my cheapo grant steering wheel today all went smooth and knew that my turn signal switch was messed up before going in figured i 'd get a look and order what i need to get everything working right . what i found was just a mess of broken plastic and wires taped and shoved in there .
so here's my question are the repo switches good ?
does it include the horn contacts too? (mine are missing completely .
i tried finding a picture but none show the horn contacts .

thanks in advance
mike

Dennis carpenter or lmc should have horn contacts. Napa or advance should carry the switch, can not remember either one or both carry the switch.

Somewhere on the web is a great tutorial on replacing the switch, with photos. I'll look on my other computer, can't find the bookmark on this one, and try to post it this afternoon. You're in for a real adventure.

I replaced my TSS a couple of months ago and took copious notes. Seems to work fine.. a little lube and it should be good to go.

It wasn't that hard..... But be sure to have your replacement switch on-hand and compare the wire colors - mine didn't match up. If they don't match, "translate" the colors and map to which pin they install in the connector. I have notes if ya get stuck.

Also, get some nylon cord and a roll of electrical tape for fishing up the wiring during removal and then using the same cord for fishing down the new wiring. Taper the wrap so it slides easily....a little dielectric grease really helps to fish it in both directions.

Lastly, you'll need a tool to release the old pins from the connector. A small jeweler's screwdriver worked for me.

I've used Shee-Mar replacement TSS's for over a decade without issue.

thanks guys , i have the tool already
i did this on my 66 mustang a long time ago , on the mustang the horn contacts are built into the turn signal switch . all the pictures i find on line of the f100 switch i can't see the horn contacts . so i guess i'll just call a vendor and have them look .

C9TZ-13341-C .. T/S Switch / Available from Ford

Applications: 1965/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/68 F100/350 / 1969 F100/350 before serial number G30,001.

MSRP: $61.98 // FTE sponsor horizonpartsguy.com price: $44.62 (Horizon Ford Seattle WA).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C2OZ-13A821-A .. Horn Brush & Insulator Kit / Obsolete

Applications: 1961/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1967/70 F100/350 // 1962/64 Falcon/Comet/Fairlane / 1964/66 Thunderbird / 1965 Mustang w/a generator.

Available from all the repro parts sellers / genuine Ford parts =

TOM HILLIER FORD in Escalon CA has 3 = 209-838-3535.

PARTS INTERNATIONAL in Farmer Branch TX has 50 = 888-727-0418.

GREEN SALES CO. in Cincinnati OH has 127 = 00-543-4959.
I tried finding a picture but none show the horn brushes & insulators.

Shown here: 1964/72 Ford Truck Parts Catalog / Illustration Section 35, Page 8 / This catalog is available on a CD from hipoparts.com for 22 bucks. Buy one, you''ll never lack for a pic again.

Genuine Ford steering wheel: Remove the horn button or horn ring. On the outside of the steering wheel is a hole that the horn brush and insulator fits into.

Some wheels have one hole, some have two, as it depends on the applications. But does a Grant steering wheel have any holes? I dunno.
