Front hubs

I have a 2006 F250.When I put my truck into 4hi or 4low the air starts blowing out of the defrost vent. Has anyone had this problem before?

You have a bifg leak in the vacuum somewhere. Check near where the lines hook up to the front wheels. Vacuum is what switches your 2wd to 4wd and back. Did you run in the snow/ice this past winter?

Bud is right on the VAC Leak

Vac lines control the Hubs and the Heater vent selection

Front hubs

No snow and ice for me, live here in Florida. The vacuum lines look good going to the hubs. Any other suggestions?

I'd check the vacuum switch on on the passenger side fenderwell. It's a little box with a electrical plug in and two vacuum hoses coming out of it. It has a white top I think. Anyways I've had 2 of these go bad on mine and both times it did what you are describing.
