I'm considering getting rid of my gas truck and getting a diesel. I'm pretty new to diesels so I want to et your guys opinion on the one above. It doesn't seem to me to b to bad but I am wondering why he had to switch motors? But other than that what do you all think?
Looks like that truck has seen better days. Not only is the bed off-center, the front license plate bracket is all bent up from some kind of front end damage. Just my personal opinion but I would not give anything for this truck. Anytime the best options they can offer are three bottles of fuel treatment and an extra gallon of oil should be a red flag. I wonder if that fresh looking puddle of oil under the truck is from this vehicle. If you want a 7.3 keep looking as there are better ones out there for sale. I would not be surprised if that truck had a salvaged title on it.
I would pass on that personally. It looks very tired and needs its a good amount of body work including The back door looks like it needs to be fixed at The bottom. If he says " fuel cleaner" is included I suspect he's trying to cover up possible injector issues. Since there is no proof of the " actual" mileage of " replacement" engine Is also a concern. It also looks like it was a fleet truck that was probably in a wreck hence the misaligned body panels and bed. Keep lookin! Lower mileage cleaner 7.3 trucks are out there!
