Toys always put me in a good mood. Speaking of the easy lift...can you install on on both sides to combat the tailgates with steps being so heavy? I was just wondering...they are so inexpensive.
I just got a set of Pia driving lights to fill either side of my license plate. Upfitter #1
they look great and offer a considerable amount of additional light.

I have heard of those that do,
but as it is I understand it very slow to come down with just one and may be too slow for me....
but we'll see in a week or so as I have the step too

That's my next purchase I think - -- had some piaa 520's on my 03 ex and loved them...
which did u get the 2100's ? How'd you mount and connect ?
I used 410 Pia lights. Not a huge off-road light but a considerable addition to our stock lights. I don't have a photo bucket account. Maybe I'll do that when I upgrade my phone. Anyway now I'm wondering if there is a way to upgrade the bulbs in my stock fg lights as the ia's are considerably brighter.

Ah - cool ! interested in those and how you mounted them...
and yes you can update your stock lights I have some upgrades on the desk I'm going to try when I have a minute Ford F250 Headlight bulbs, F250 Fog Light Bulbs
no need for photobucket account.. fte has a gallery you can use by clicking the User CP on upper left and import to your gallery
OR when posting just use the go advanced button and scroll down to the manage attachments and it will load pictures in your post like here:

Photobucket is SO much easier.. FTE gallery's are a pain .. photo size limits, upload tool stinks, getting links to the images stinks..
been on here for over 10 years now and no improvement... use photobucket.
only paying users ('Supporters') can use inline attachments..
maybe you're right... this forum stinks - think I'll leave it too....
sorry.. don't understand that comment. I have gallery photos, and garage, and profile. so I have experience over a long period of time.
they are hard to use. We have enough trouble with new users coming on, with the FTE limits in the 1st 25 posts, and difficulties with pics.. Unfortunately I would never send a new FTE user to an FTE photo something.. I can't count the number of times I've had to help someone with the FTE storage.
compared to FB upload, or Photobucket these just don't work.
every other site in the world takes your photos, regardless of source size,
and resizes them as required. FTE still fails here, even for paying users.
the forums themselves are fabulous.. well moderated, decently searchable.

Update
I drove through some very dark windy back roads last night. The new Pia 410 fog lights provided more light than my high beams did. I highly recommend. Now I understand all the guys who were complaining about the stock lights.
Please tell me more about the Pia bulb replacement (link shown in the next posting). Is this a viable solution?
im looking a some lights up front and something to put em on. i like the brush guard idea but most are either horrific, cheap, or you need the heavy service package to run em. I like light bars but most seem a bit undersized. i found the N Fab prerunner, which is like a cross between a brush guard and a light bar. Im liking it so far. trying to find a pic of one on the 2011-12 model. Then if i go that route its a matter of finding some lights i like for it. Im looking at the Hella Black Magics, they seem awesome. but still new into this research.

Heads up. The Pia 410 mount in the space between a front license plate. There is no need for mounting bars if you just want a conservative light enhancement. They mount from the lid. There are actually holes there just for that purpose of affixing lights.
