Hate to see you had that problem, but what a score on the dana60. How long did it take to do those ball joints? I thought mine where great, but driving it the last couple days seems they mit be starting to go.

I was thinking the exact same thing Matt. I would not have wanted to see that at the Jefferson drags that's for sure. (Oh yeah Pete, you'll have a full pit crew for sure! I'll even bring my top box, and all my extra parts!) I hope those weren't Precision U-Joints, I almost pulled the trigger on some at O'Reillys, and run them on my driveline, but I made a bid on some Spicer's instead.

I was away for the weekend fishing with my boy up in the hills. It was nice to disconnect from last weeks chaos. But back to the task at hand. I am almost ashamed to admit the source of the U-joint. It was Autozone's in house brand. Duralast part # 3-0332DL. Lesson learned. Expensively.

New front end is at the house and I'll start tearing it down to swap it over this weekend so the truck is ready to race the following weekend. They included everything with it. Driveshaft, tie rod, draglink.... I don't need any of that but its nice that they threw it all in. Makes the load to the metal recyclers that much more heavy.

I'll give you the scrap price for that front driveshaft!

Sorry Jeff, the driveshaft is spoken for as of right now. If the other party doesn't come though, it's yours.

That's all right, just thinking of another way to load my truck down with spare parts I'll probably never use when I go to the Mts.
