Im a little disappointed to see the site doesn't have a page or list of common mods to our super duty's. For instance the ranger forum I was on had a whole lot of how to's on common mods. For example swapping in explorer leather seats, overhead consoles, etc etc etc. Do we have a list like that or did I miss it? If not we should compile one.

Welcome to the Superduty forum, let your imagination run wild, then ask how to do the mod, that's all I can say.
is there an overhead console available for my 2008? I know some of the years past had them. I also know there is a connector for what I believe would be a temp sensor in the front of the truck mounted on the radiator support.

My Advice to you for what it's worth, start a thread for each modification you want, pain I know, bump it up if you don't get a response. Tues is slow and Spring, Summer and Fall aren't the best times for obvious reasons, don't give up and post some pics if you have them.
Keep in mind that the Ranger was built on the same platform as the Explorer and Sport Trac for many years. Many of the parts were interchangeable between these vehicles.
Ford did something in 1999 that neither GM nor Dodge has yet to do... make the 3/4 ton truck a completely different "animal" than the 1/2 ton truck. As a result, the Super Duty is unique and generally not compatible with parts of the F150 truck.
