Ideas

Alright so hey everyone, how are ya, so i just wanted some input on some ideas i have and if its worth it, i love my truck too much. Alright so gonna get it painted to the Ford Grabber blue, gonna herculine the interior floor, dash and everything, gonna get some chrome bezel and glow gauges preferably red. Already has camo seat covers, and gonna be getting a camo headliner, and visors and etc. some 35 a/t tires on 16in chrome wheels. 4 in lift 3 in body lift. Also with enough saved up i plan on redoing everything and making it a 7.3 coversion.

Ok, you asked. I can see the rhino lining the floor, but the dash/everything?? It's your truck, go to it. Not my cup of tea. That crap don't come off, so you better like it the first time.....

You don't have anyone to please but yourself.

Thanks, well I've seen guys do the entire truck on the outside, I'm not a fan of that, but i figured the floor, and the interior would be a difference from everyone else. Thanks for the input.

Just my personal opinion but if your gonna lift the suspension just go for a 6" lift and forget the body lift...

Another option is fenders. Fiberglass weighs less and the wheel wells are larger to allow for much larger tires with less lift. Saves on a lift, lower center of gravity, covers wider tires.

Fiberwerx had some (look under Bronco). I'll post up some more links once I'm on my computer at home. I'm saving up for eventually getting fenders and possibly bedsides. I figure its a win-win since you lose weight and get tons of clearance. Coupled with a 4" lift you'd be golden. As for damage, you could zip tie a fiberglass fender together short-term, and patch it up without too much trouble whereas the metal can be a PITA.

but your metal bumpers have a trade off, stronger (more rigid) and able to survive a bit more then the fiberglass stuff, granted each has its own pros and cons like fiberglass is easy to fix.

honestly it will be up ot you on which you use...

Great point sir! I had totally forgotten about the bumpers, I will always use metal bumpers, can't stand that newer trucks are mostly plastic now. I like to use my bumpers from time to time so I keep as much protection front and back as I can!
