Climate Control System doesn't work.. Help???
My 2005 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4 5.4l V8. the climate control system will not let me lower the fan speed or let me change the airflow direction. and my heated seats will not work as well.. i looked at the fuse it was good.. and un-plugged the battery for 3 minutes.. any other suggestions?

Replace the switch. Mine was stuck on full blast. Simple unplug replug. Switch was cheap enough not to worry if it wasn't fix the problem.
Only thing I can see is if you have the digital climate controller. That thing runs 150.00 used when I looked.

If you have the "automatic" climate control, there is a self diagnostic capability. I know my brother's Taurus has that type A/C system. We ran the test, got the "fail code", replaced a faulty sensor ($25 from Tasca). Everything is like new now. I'm not sure if the test works the same as on his car, maybe somebody here has a little knowledge?
