A/C randomly coming on
My wife has a 2008 ford escape hybrid, and the A/C just randomly came on while she was driving tonight. She turned it off not thinking much about it. And about 5 minutes later it came back on again. Any ideas of what this could be? Any help is appreciated.

What were the control switch settings? Which climate control system?

It has dual climate control system. But everything was off. That's what I don't understand.
