needing information

Hey guys im Charles Gleason. I have a 1977 ford f-150 with a 351m or the 400m in it. The casting number is D7TE-A3B. i called Summit and Jegs and they said ford never made one of these engines. I did some reading on this site before i got registered on and can not find where i was at but there was one gental men with this same problem. I am trying to make this truck a race truck and can not find a intake for it. I ordered one for a 351M and all but one of the wholes lines up. I am just trying to find out what engine this is so that way i know what parts to get.

The 410 was last made in 1967 and used only by Mercury. A FE engine is pretty distinctive looking.

1) 410 FE
2) 360 FE front and all the same

Which hole doesn't line up ? There is a easy way to tell a 351M/400 from a small block. The 351M/400's water neck for the top rad hose bolts to the block. The 302 351W bolts to the intake manifold.

Thanks for your help guys. The top raditor hose bolts up to the block. As far as the intake holes not lining up i am thinking the after market intake i got for it was made wrong or something. Now its time to look at the valves and see if my valves might be weak. This engine is going to be a mud dragging engine. Im trying to get it to go past 5000 RPM. What would you guys do to get it above 5000 RPM?
