hey everyone
I am looking at getting a new set of tires for my 05 f-250, i have a worn out set of 38/15.50's on it now that i traded for on craigslist after putting my lift on, i like the way the truck looks with them on it, but they rub when i turn to full lock and im afraid that if i get a new set of the same size they will rub even worse. i was thinking about putting a set of 37/14.00 nitto mud grapplers on it, but i like the tires to stick outside the fenders, and i dont want them to look to skinny. what do yall think would be a good size choice, if anyone can post pics of there setup, i could get some ideas. btw im running a 8'' procomp lift. thanks.
IMO it won't look bad. I have an 05 CC LB FX4 with the pro comp 8" lift and ran some 37-13.50s on it. I currently have toyo 38-13.50s on it and they look good too. they still stick out a good amount. It def won't look like the 38-15.50s on 12" wheels, but it still looks good. I wanted to run the 38-15.50s, but they rubbed wayy too bad and needed a lot of trimming. I can't figure out how to upload pictures to show you my truck!!
do you have any rubbing with the 38's your running now?. to upload pics i use a site called tinypic.com, you can upload your pic and then it gives you an image code, just copy that code and paste it in the reply box here. thanks for the response.
Here's a cpl pics with the toyo 38s. They rub slightly on the inner plastic fender on a full lock turn. Nothing major though. Toyo's website says that their actual measurements are like 37.7x14
And I found this pic of my truck with Mickey Thompson ATZ 37-13.50-18s. They were pretty worn when I took this picture, so the fender might look slightly diff. When I graduate from UF next year im gonna buy myself a new set of 20x12s as a graduation present to myself lol I think the wider wheel will help the 13.50 tire stick out further and look better
thats a good looking truck you got there, thanks for posting the pics, i decided i'm gonna go ahead with the 37x13.50 nitto mud grapplers. thanks again for the help, what part of florida are you from?
ok i was just wondering, im from clewiston down on the south end of the lake. i'm going to get the 37x13.50's put on this afternoon ill post up pics when i get it done.
