I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some Transfer Case bushings for a 76 F-250? It is the divorced transfer case of course. I would like to find some polyerathaine(sp) or performance bushings, but if I can only get stock that will work. It is missing 2 of the 4 that it has and it will pop it into neutral once in awhile.

Any suggestions and prices??

Good luck with find a "new" set of bushings for your xfer case. In general I'd say they are NOT available unless you can induce someone to sell aset they've had laying around for along time!!!IF, you can't find a new set, i have an alternative plan using some differen't (new) parts that I utilized to rebuild and rehang my np205 in my 77 hiboy. fd

 

I am always up for new ideas if you wouldn't mind sharing what you had in mind on doing it. I am going to look around for a new set on ebay and see if I can find some.

The bushings are still available. A buddy of mine got a set last fall, took a little looking on Ford's part but they are still out there. You just have find a parts guy who doesn't mind doing his job I'll check and see if he still has the parts numbers

 

I found them!!

I called the local Ford dealer here in town and the parts guy knew exactly what I was talking about and they have a few sets in stock for $50. He said they are the 8 piece sets.

Now I can fix that rattle and it won't pop into neutral no more..
