1 bag usually, but you need to look at the Q of what your Woofer Mfg. suggests for Cu. Ft. to determine what your''s needs.

It's easy to add some, try it out, then add more until you get it exactly like you like it.

I used 1 pound of poly fill in my 1 ct ft box per 10. That wood be 2 pounds of poly fill an it made a world of difference in to sound of my 10's.

Blades. Was it easy to relocated ur back seat. I have been Thinkin of ways to do this to move my seat up bout 2" so I can build a custom box an fit 4 10" behind the seat. I have to size of the box I need worked out just need to move seat up a few inches to make room for it.

Honestly the seat was moved forward when I Bought it. Whoevver owned it B4 me Had a stereo system installed but they pulled out everything and installed the Stock Deck back in it. But they left some of the Wire and 4 Tweeters that were installed in the Doors and the Headliner.

But anyway how they moved the rear bench seat forward was there are 2 Black Rails on each side that Holds the seat to the Body of the truck you want to leave those rails right where there mounted at

Just take out the Bolts that Hold the Bench seat to the Rails slide the Seat forward and then rebolt the Bench Seat to the Rails.

IDK if they had to drill new holes for the bolts to go back in or if they just slid seat forward and used another set of Bolt Holes that was already there

Thanks for the seat mOvin info blades.

As far as the poly fill. It made my 10's sound deeper an it stopped them from bottoming out. Me an a friend did it an made a difference for both of us. I read an the Internet. 1 pound of poly fill for every cubic foot of airspace ur woofer has.

Right now I have 2 10's behind the seat an 2 10's in a box in the floorboard all pushed by a Hifonics 1000 watt amp. AlPine INA-W900 7" touchscreen cd/DVD/mp3/iPod deck. You can lay a handful of change on top of my truck an it will dance around.

I had, an still want to, put 4 10" kicker L7 square woofers behind the rear seat. Then get another Hifonics 1000 watt amp an change out all the factory speakers an add tweeters an run them with my punch 150.

The poly will absorb these waves and turn them into heat thus letting the woofer produce a more stable frequency. I would first try buying the poly that comes in around 1" thick and glue to all sides and back of enclosure.
Play stereo and see how low your bass sounds, you can add more and take some out depending on sound.

The poly will make a small enclosure act as if it were bigger by dampning the back pressure and standing waves. There are specifications for enclosure size for every speaker but you can deviate a bit with the poly fil and other padding for quilts and what have ya.

Just try different amounts until your liking by ear. Good Luck and enjoy . Mark...
