Dual quad Edelbrock intake for a 312! Cool!
IDK if it's worth the asking, but, hey, when's the last time you saw one? intake for 1957 ford 312 other parts
1957 Ford's, T-Bird's and Merc's with 312's were available with factory installed dual quads (VIN engine code E) or w/a McCollough Supercharger (VIN engine code F).
Not only have I seen these parts, but cars with them installed. Late 1970's, found 6 NOS dual quad air cleaners for the Ford/Mercs in a junkyard. T-Bird's are different due to hood clearance.
Paid 200 bucks for all six, sold them for faaar more than that!
I saw several on labor day weekend, at the NMRA Ford Expo in Columbus, Oh for the Y-Block shootout.
Well, they may not have been Edelbrocks, though.
The ad is incorrect about the carbs the intake uses. Holley square bore carbs will not mount directly to it; they need adapters and fancy linkage. Here's one way to do it.
