Hard shifting?

I have an 88 f250 351w 5 speed that has recently been shifting hard. From neutral to 1st or 2nd is hard to go into gear. Also from 2nd to 3rd is hard to go into gear. The other gears are fine. Once the truck gets warm everything shifts smooth but when cold i have problems. ANy ideas?
