Gear Box ????

Hey Guys, I recently put a new gear box on my truck. Went through a couple till I found a good one.
Once I got it all put back together, my steering wheel now sits as if it where turned to the left. (note the first 2 leaked but the steering wheel was straight)
1st question: Is this a problem with the gear box its self? As in I would need yet another 1.
2nd question: After replacing the gear box should I have got an alignment, and would that help the steering wheel issue?

Thanks,
Harry

The Spline is keywayed.

You could always pop the arm back off and turn the box a few times till the pitman arm lines up with the tires strait and the wheel strait.

Not sure if that would work, but its a thought.

The honestly easy way on gear boxes is to buy a new one, I've never had good luck with used ones.

How far off you talking?

Are the wheels straight with the steering wheel to the left. Many just need to turn the steering column a spline down on the box.
