SO I do some looking around on the city of wichitas website and there is 1 a list one for whomever had speeding tickets-- (wow I have had allot) and 2 a list for those who have warrants out for their arrest-- on the latter I ran across a name I know.. That kinda sucks- They skipped out on $2,500 bond.
So what would you do? Give an anonymous tip, and possibly have them picked up or just drop it?
Pends I guess. If it were a relative or people I new for a long time I'd try to get them to go down and take care of it. That way they do it when it is a time best for them. If it were someone I did not know well I might call and mention it to them. Let them know it is there and tell them thay should take care of it. Maybe explain the problems if they are stoped on the way to work or something else. The cost of maybe having a vehicle impounded. And even spending the weekend in jail till they could see a judge. Just a bit less than if it were a close friend or relative.
For me, it would depend a lot on who it was, like Jack said.. someone close to you, encourage them to do the right thing, someone who jerked you around and was/is rude and mean to you, fry em..
Unless of course it was me.. then I would say.. U didn't see nothin, ya see??
The other possibility is the name uncommon enough that there might not be two people with the same name. I like the "call the person" if you know them well enough. I look forward to hearing from you Chad.
If they were family or a long time friend I would let them know otherwise I'd likely leave it be but if the police knock on my door asking for that guy I wouldn't hesitate to tell them exactly where they were.
