I already had it online, so I'll link here - some donors to choose from for ideas (no info on brakes though, just sizes, applications, spline, tag number etc)

Now that we everything apart I think that I am going to stay with the drum brakes in the rear. For $200.00 I can put all new, including drums and axle bearings and seals. Were also going to install the 3.50 Detroit Locker pumkin. Seeing that I have 28 spline axles that pumkin should just bolt in and the 3.50 gears with the AOD should work well together.

1974/79: Some 9's have a axle ball bearing, separate seal / Some have a tapered roller axle bearing/seal combination.

The only way to know is if you have the Ford ID axle tag and someone can decifer it, otherwise...

The fun thing about this project is that everything changes, seems like daily. The rear end is now done. Instead of staying with the drum brakes I decided to bit the bullit and spend the extra money for disks. I used the TSM kit. It's first rate and I would recommend it to anyone doing a conversion. The center section has 3.50 gears and a Detroit Locker.
