rear disc brakes

mspin54,
These Wilwood D154 rear brake kits fit multiple rear ends. Once you figure out which 9 inch housing you have, then you can select the correct kit.
Wilwood High Performance Disc Brakes - D154
I have a custom 9 inch housing with the late Ford Big bearing ends and I selected one of these kits for my 48 F1.
Some would say a little pricey; however, when it comes to safety, how much is your safety worth?

Go to a junk yard and get the rear brakes off a 1996 or newer explorer...they bolt right up and are cheap. If you would rather have a new set then look into the FRPP line or https://www.amazon.com/Ford-Racing-M.../dp/B009XRPBGY

That should be a "old" style big bearing flange. here is a page with all kinds of links https://www.google.com/search?q=ford...HaSmC-EQsAQIaQ
There are several manufactures who make a disc kits for these, you would have to decide if you wanted plain, drilled or slotted rotors, parking brake, multi-piston calipers, etc...
