As some of you guys know, i got a duraspark 2 harness from a v8 truck and i am trying to look everything over good so when i do the swap everything goes smoothly. First i noticed that i have one wire cut and it goes back to a 2 wire connector that apparently plugs back into the trucks harness NOT the ignition module. the wire is yellow with a red tracer line. What is that wire? its driving me crazy. also where does the coolant temperature wire plug into? Because i have one a connector that is on top of the water neck on the engine block. Thats all i see.
Also the carb that i thought was a non feedback carb, well it wasnt. it was a carb of of something completely different and i cant find a non feedback carb. So i guess i will make due with the feedback carb but nothing on it is going to be electronic. I know u need the non feedback carb to cmoplete the swap but why? please explain. thanks guys for your help.
