My cooler lines had a hole in them. I'm not sure what put it there. but i cut out a few inches of line and spliced them together with rubber hose and clamps. Been going about 3 months this way, no leaks.

So don't be afraid to think outside the box. But it does pay to check with us before doing anything out of the ordinary.

When you re-attach the reservoir, be careful to lube the O-ring and inner lip of the housing so you don't pinch the O-ring and cause another leak.

Well, I finally got into this job today and promptly bent the pulley. It may be salvageable, maybe not, it's bent about 1/2" out of round. Dangit !

I'm having a hard time finding a pulley for this rig. It's a v belt. Will a little wobble in the pulley wear out the seal in the pump ? Any ideas on who sells this pulley ? Checked JEGS, Autozone and the Rock, no luck yet.

the ONLY way to remove and install those pulleys in one piece is with the special puller made for them. most parts stores will do it for you, or some may rent you the tool. straighten the pulley as well as you can and it'll probably be ok unless its gonna chew up the belt

Yeah Josh, I read that weeks ago and forgot it when it came time to do the job. Got in a hurry and used a large hydraulic puller I have. I'm gonna try and straighten it and keep looking for a new one. I need to get this truck back on the road.
