After being married for 51 years, I took a careful look at my wife one day and said, "Fifty one years ago we had a cheap house, a junk car, slept on a sofa bed and watched a 10-inch black and white TV, but I got to sleep every night with a hot 23-year-old girl. Now ... I have a $500,000.00 home, a $35,000.00 car, a nice big bed and a large screen TV, but I'm sleeping with a 73-year-old woman. It seems to me that you're not holding up your side of things."

My wife is a very reasonable woman. She told me to go out and find a hot 23-year-old girl and she would make sure that I would once again be living in a cheap house, driving a junk car, sleeping on a sofa bed and watching a 10-inch black and white TV.
Aren't older women great? They really know how to solve an old guy's problems!

Yeah I have to admit that you came to mind while I was reading that article. The areas that the coal industry would affect are some of the hardest hit areas of the country economically speaking. And that industry has the same "trickle down" effect that the oil industry does. It would be nice to keep some of our energy production domestic too.

I dont think I've heard that song since grade school... Remember the local top 40 channel used to play it constantly back in the day.

If your hearing a hissing sound with loss of power then you wired it shut.

I'm running Discoverer ATR's. ATP's are different.
They have a new tread pattern out now though that is friggen awesome. I almost switched, but they were 250 a tire. I got mine for 185 a tire.

Your rear end is more likely to wash out in a front wheel drive car than the front, same with a pickup. Good tires and I went across a bridge sideways last night. Wasn't very fun.

Anyways, unless your running slicks in the front, your front has the weight and is more likely to have traction with less tread than the rear which is almost always lighter.

It is true though. It's a liability thing as to why they do it that way.
Insurance companies blah blah blah.

They just go with the facts of whatever study was done and if somebody takes them to court, they will win.

If you keep shopping discount tire, your discounts will keep getting better and better.

The guys there are almost always (99%) of the time great to deal with. (Everyone has a bad day here and there)

The ATP's are what Discount had. I really like them so far, plus I feel I got a great price on them.

BTW I prefer a crow bar to your 2x4. I usually have 2 or 3 of them in the truck at all times. Speaking of which my crossbed box is a mess right now. You guys ever post up pics o what's in your crossbed's?

Like I said.

ATR's are discontinued.
At discount at least.

Are you talking about the bed toolbox?

I keep a chain and whatever straps and my shearing gear in there and a tool kit.
