We shall see. I am willing to bet that if they can squeeze some decent mileage numbers out of it they will, indeed sell. These should sell for a different reason than you would buy an F250. As long as these are able to tow about as much as a gas engine truck, I think people will buy them for the added durability (but then again it is a Dodge...) and fuel economy. I guess we will have to wait and see what the numbers look like when the truck is released, but I think there is a market for these things.

I think there's a market for them. And I don't think they'll release it with the same gasser 1500 suspension. I think it'll be a heavier duty suspension.
Mine has a tow rating over 10k lbs with rear coil springs and a 4link

I think there's a market for them for those people that want a diesel but dont NEED one. There are a ton of guys out there with 3/4 ton trucks because diesel is cooler and gets better mileage. Should have strong appeal to the pavement princess demographic.

I think it'll be the one that tow campers that are almost maxing out a gas engine but don't need a truck that'll tow 25k

Yeah what about you Mike? If you could have shelled out another $3-5k and got your truck with a little turbo diesel in it would you have done it? Keep in mind that the "little diesel" we are talking about is rated at 240HP, which is more than the stock rating of our 7.3s so....

But the samething that turned me away from the newer diesels would probably turn me away from this one. All the emissions crap.

Dear Employees:

As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%.

But since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go.

So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change......I gave it to them.

I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic.
