I have 160cc Stage II's and was wondering if I get a Modded H2E or a GQSSB, will I need head studs? Is that enough fuel to boost it up above 40 psi?
I've read studs can be done in the truck, but I hear it's a pain in the a$$.
I was gonna go with a GQSSB, but was concerned about future serviceability. The H2E is pretty awesome I hear and it also has been around and the Cummin's fools use them.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again,

Are you going to add more fuel in the future? If not I would go with a QSSB for stage 2's... It will be a bit more responsive then the GQSSB.
Both turbos you mention are easy to rebuild so dont worry about that in the least.
Thanks for the info, Joe. I sent you a PM on NWDiesels, so you can ignore that....
Down the road, I plan on switching to some hybrids. Not in the next year or so, but down the road. Jake at WOP told me the GQSSB wouldn't spool any different that the QSSB, so he said in that regard, I should be OK. Plus, he said the "G" would probably help keep the EGT's down a little further.
I also talked with Bean's about their H2E and modded H2E. They suggested I go with the modded version if I got one. They said that my Stage II's are on the bottom end of the scale for what the modded one is good for, but it would work better than a stock H2E. They said that I might have EGT problems with a plain H2E.
The GQSSB and the modded H2E are the exact same price with the Hypermax mount kit. I convinced myself to go with a GQSSB, but then I talked myself into a modded H2E. I was gonna go with a 38R, but multiple people have told me if I'm gonna spend the money, spend it once and get a T4/T4i mount turbo.
Your on the right track turbo wise, you cant go wrong with any of the turbos your looking at. I like the H2e, but I am sure I would like the GQSSB as well.
I would look at a different mount kit however, be it an irate kit or other. Its not hard to build your own if you have access to a mock up motor.
Yeah, I see Full Force is selling Irate's kit. I talked to Matt at Full Force and he is running a S468 on his truck with Stage II's and said it flows a ton of air and it lights quick. Installed with an Irate kit and he loves it.
