Wiring Messed Up

I recently purchased this 1999 F150 W/4.6 Triton V8 about a year ago, and should have listened to my inner self. It had a broken gear selector in the dash, when it was in drive it said it was in 2nd.

Anyway, now the dash lights keep popping fuses and every once in a while the windshield wipers will cycle through a couple of times.

Does anyone know where I could get a quality wiring diagram for the dash lights and wipers?

Service Manuals, Owner Manuals, Wiring Diagrams, Service Bulletins - Helm Incorporated is the place that sells the factory authorized diagrams for Ford and a couple other OEM's.

Thanks Dave. I see a wiring schematic for sixty dollars which i don't have right now.
Is there somewhere that you know of where i might get to look at the appropriate schematics?

Autozone is the only place that has them for free. The earlier trucks are pretty lousy and not complete, the later trucks are very good and have a lot of info on their site. Your truck being a 99, if I remember right the diagrams are fairly decent, but not as good as the 2000-up.

I've had great luck looking for slightly used Helms/OEM EVTM's on eBay--here's one that is an okay deal but I've seen cheaper in better outside condition: 1999 F-150 F-250 Wiring Diagrams | eBay

I have several of this same type for my 2000 E250---they're invaluable to me!
