[SIZE="4"]Ol hotrod was visiting another diesel website yesterday and hit on a weird post. Op had taken both batts out and made up 2 sets of capacitors for starting his diesel. Reportedly spun / cranked at a higher rpm and started right now. Had pics of the setup posted.
I inquired about 'what if eng probs prevented quick start, and prolonged crank was needed?' Reply was that only cranked for about 5 - 6 sec's then taper to nil. Recharge was via reg charger, but very quick recharge on the capacitors.
