2001 SuperCrew door actuator problem

2001 SuperCrew door actuator problem
Hello All,
My 2001 SuperCrew door actuator makes a "clunk" sound when it closes which is not normal, of course. I've seen a couple of really good detailed posted with photos on another F-150 forum of how to remove the actuator, but it must be for a standard F-150 because my SuperCrew's actuator is in a different location from those photos. I've included detailed photos of the actuator and am wondering if anyone knows how to remove it from what appears to be a pop riveted bracket, and the actuator is enclosed in a rubber boot. Hmm?
I put my hand on the actuator as I operated the lock/unlock switch and clearly I can feel it making the "clunking" noise.
Any advice is greatly appreciated,
