Hey i have a 95 f350 with a 351, the check engine light comes on periodically so I scanned it. I got code 565 on KOEO test which is canister purge solenoid fault and also code 327 on CM test which is EGR valve position circuit below minimum voltage. Any one else had similar codes and how they solved it?

The KOEO test is an electrical continuity test and ball park voltage test.
So the 565 code would mean a wiring problem or the solenoid valve is not there any more or it is bad.

The 327 is a code stored in memory an indicates the EGR valve was closed further than normal or EVP sensor or circuit has failed with an intermittent low voltage sometime during the last 80 times of vehicle operation.
Possible causes are poor continuity in EVP harness or connectors or Intermittent open or short in EVP sensor or its harness or a damaged EVP sensor.
But by it passing the KOEO test I would say a damaged EVP sensor.

 

Okay thanks that helps a lot. Is there an easy way to check the solenoid wiring?

 

Just look at the wires, make sure it is still there.

Believe it or not all it took was replacing the canister purge breather tubes for the problem to be fixed, scanned KOEO with code 111 system pass. Now to solve code 327. Thanks for the advice
